Job summary

Red Mountain Resort is seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across its facilities. You will perform daily cleaning of public spaces, restrooms, and staff areas, and respond to operational needs to support guest and employee experience.

The role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently in a mountain resort setting, with early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or facility maintenance is an asset.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Dependable with limited supervision.
• Identify problems and take action without waiting for direction on routine cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean public and staff washrooms and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in public areas and staff spaces.
• Complete scheduled facility inspections and maintain cleaning logs.
• Address spills, hazards, and maintenance needs promptly.
• Support cleaning for events and periods of higher resort visitation.
