Job summary

RED Mountain Resort Lodging is seeking a Houseperson to support guests and the housekeeping team on a seasonal basis. The role blends concierge service with behind-the-scenes tasks to keep properties ready for arrivals and maintain comfort and cleanliness.

You will work with Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Maintenance in a fast-paced environment, staying active and taking initiative during busy periods. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Active, physically demanding workday.

Responsibilities

• Regular hot tub maintenance—full training provided
• Clean pool and pool deck when needed
• Assist with laundry, linens, and prep of properties for guests
• Assist housekeeping and other departments when busy
• Maintain common areas and shared spaces
• Support Front Desk with towels, supplies, or troubleshooting
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report stock needs
• Manage time effectively during busy periods
• Be available for on-call snow removal
• Take on additional duties as needed with flexibility

Job Description

The Houseperson at Red Resort Lodging is a part-time concierge and part-time behind-the-scenes problem solver, who helps keep our properties running smoothly and looking their best. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, hands-on team where no two days are exactly the same. One day might involve getting a property ready for arriving guests, another could mean helping with laundry, delivering extra towels, maintaining a hot tub, clearing snow, or jumping in to help the housekeeping team.

This is an ideal role for someone who likes to stay active, enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and would rather spend their day moving than sitting behind a desk. You’ll work closely with Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Maintenance to make sure our guests have everything they need for an unforgettable stay.

Job Responsibilities

• Concierge service for guests

• Perform regular hot tub maintenance — full training provided.
• Clean pool and pool deck when needed
• Assist with laundry, linens, and preparing properties for incoming guests.
• Assist Housekeeping and other departments when things get busy.
• Help maintain common areas, including hallways, amenity rooms, and shared spaces.
• Assist Front Desk and Guest Services with requests such as delivering towels, supplies, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Keep an eye out for maintenance issues and report repairs promptly.
• Help with baggage handling when needed.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
• Work collaboratively with the team while also being comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
• Manage your time effectively and stay organized during busy periods.
• Be available for on-call snow removal when Mother Nature decides to put us to work.
• Take on additional tasks as needed — flexibility and a willingness to jump in are key!

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• Enjoy an active, physically demanding workday.
• Can comfortably spend up to 8 hours on your feet.
• Are able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
