Job summary

River Cree Resorts & Casino in Alberta seeks a Public Area Attendant to maintain a safe, clean environment across the resort. You will follow task lists to keep casino and public areas tidy and presentable, reporting to the Public Areas Manager.

Responsibilities include responding to guest requests, transporting supplies, cleaning carpets, bathrooms, glass, and floors, and ensuring odour-free rooms. You will work with a team, adhere to safety policies, and participate in required training.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills required.
• Able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Commitment to safety policies and proper handling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Vacuum carpets and corridors.
• Remove trash and empty all waste bins.
• Empty ashtrays and other service items.
• Clean glass and mirrors; sweep and mop floors.
• Clean bathrooms and toilets; ensure odour-free rooms.
• Report maintenance issues and follow safety procedures.
• Work with a team and adhere to company policies; undertake additional duties.
