Job summary

River Cree Resort & Casino in Alberta seeks a structured Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator to ensure guest and associate safety within non-gaming areas. Reporting to the Surveillance Manager, you will monitor cameras and act as central dispatch for security.

You will respond to patron issues, dispatch Emergency Services when needed, and document incidents in the official reporting system while upholding top service and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Must read, write and comprehend English fluently.
  • Proficient with surveillance equipment and operate with mouse/joystick.
  • Able to sit at a desk for long periods.
  • Strong radio/phone communication skills.
  • Must obtain an AGLC License.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor cameras in non-gaming areas of the resort.
  • Serve as central radio/phone dispatch for Resort Security.
  • Respond to patron complaints about belligerent patrons on the casino floor.
  • Dispatch Emergency Services as required.
  • Create incident reports per company directive.
  • Maintain accurate logs in the Property Central Reporting System.
  • Uphold integrity and superior customer service for patrons and staff.
  • Provide evidence in legal matters from incidents.
  • Follow Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
