Job summary

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community is hiring Full-time Support Staff to back the 24/7 residential programs, PSH and crisis stabilization locations in Guelph and Wellington County. You will assist with daily resident supervision, crisis support, and administrative duties while upholding the Therapeutic Community model.

The role involves shift work, rotating weekends, and potential statutory holiday work. Benefits include health/dental, paid breaks, and a shift premium for overnight hours.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in mental health, addiction, or social services.
• Six months of progressive experience in addictions or mental health; trauma-informed practice an asset.
• Experience with justice-involved individuals preferred.
• Valid G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle (locations are not on a bus route).

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents in daily activities.
• Provide mental health and crisis support.
• Monitor the program sites during overnight hours.
• Interact with residents per individual treatment plans.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and supportive counseling/containment.
• Liaise and support program staff.
• Provide medication to residents and complete related documentation.
• Conduct bed checks / wellness checks.
