Job summary

Hopewell Support Services in Ariss, ON is seeking an Overnight Awake Support Worker to join our Residential and Respite Services Team. This full-time, on-site role supports individuals with developmental and physical disabilities across Guelph-Wellington, primarily during overnight hours.

You will work within a clinical multidisciplinary team following a biopsychosocial model, performing light housekeeping, care tasks as per care plans, and responding to needs during the night to ensure safety

Qualifications

• University or college degree/diploma in a relevant field.
• Valid G driver's license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Vulnerable sector check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Support independence of individuals with daily living programs (toileting, feeding, grooming).
• Perform housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry or dishes.
• Provide transportation to individuals via association or public transit.
• Monitor vital signs and healthcare-related tasks as directed by care plans.
• Document events and incident reports at the residence by shift end.
