Job summary

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community in Ontario seeks a dedicated Therapeutic Community Facilitator to support the residential program. The role blends coaching, group facilitation, and practical coordination to sustain TC operations.

You will lead psychoeducational groups, coordinate with guest speakers, supervise activities, and assist with daily logistics. On-call responsibilities and a rotational schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a college diploma or university degree relevant to mental health, addiction, or social services.
• Minimum one year of progressive experience in addictions or mental health; trauma-informed practice an asset.
• Experience in residential treatment and corrections field considered assets.
• Valid G driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience; satisfactory driving record.
• CSC Clearance conducted by PWGSC Canada.
• Standard First Aid/CPR Level C required.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to attend work within an hour of notification when on call.
• Will travel to residential centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate psychoeducational groups, including coping skills, relapse prevention, emotional management.
• Coordinate with guest speakers and community resources to support content.
• Provide follow-up support to residents after groups.
• Lead structured group activities and therapeutic interventions.
• Uphold TC values and provide motivational coaching to residents.
• Oversee work crews, daily activities, and safety compliance.
• Transport residents to appointments and assist with medication administration.
• Assist with inventory, food preparation, and housekeeping as needed.
• Complete resident documentation and mandatory training.
