Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a skilled Painter to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on painting suites, preparing surfaces, and ensuring safety and quality while serving residents with care. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of painting experience, spray application experience, and comfortable navigating a dynamic property management environment in Alberta.

This is a permanent, full-time position. Must be able to lift up to 90kg with equipment, stand for long periods, and work in

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Residents.
• Ensure daily communication with your Leader and team members.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by mudding, sanding, patching etc.
• Painting suites as scheduled.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Ceiling stipple repair and replacement.
• Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Experience And Educational Requirements

• Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
• Complete all required administrative tasks using a mobile phone / tablet

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
