Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a maintenance associate to handle a range of building maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning tasks at Brentview Tower and nearby properties in NW Calgary. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service for residents and visitors.

Candidates should be able to operate small equipment and power tools, learn in-house software, and manage time effectively while working across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or cleaning.
• Familiarity with technology is an asset.
• Ability to operate small equipment and power tools.
• Ability to learn in-house software programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of building maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning tasks.
• Ensure site cleanliness, including picking up garbage and pet waste around all sites.
• Paint suites, parkades, and other areas.
• Assist other team members as needed.

The successful candidate will mainly work at Brentview Tower (NW Calgary), and assist at other buildings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various labour tasks
• Perform a variety of building maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning tasks
• Ensure site cleanliness, including picking up all garbage and pet waste around all sites
• Painting suites, parkades, and other areas
• Assist other team members as needed

Experience And Educational Requirements

• Experience in maintenance, and / or cleaning
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Technical Requirements

• Ability to operate small equipment and power tools
• Ability to learn in-house software programs

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and be flexible in nature
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
• Deadline and goal oriented
