Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking an experienced Cleaner for our communities in Edmonton. You will maintain cleanliness in entrances, elevators, offices and common areas, ensuring health, safety and a welcoming environment for Resident Members.

The role requires 2 years of cleaning experience, fluent English, and the ability to handle physical tasks. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are needed to support site coverage across properties.

Qualifications

• 2 years cleaning experience required.
• Working knowledge of English, verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our Resident Members
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
