Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community living or residential care.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Valid TB test.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of residential homes with high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of support workers; provide coaching and performance management.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure consistent, quality coverage.
  • Manage program budgets, ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and licensing standards.
  • Build relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners; keep leadership informed.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced ResidentialManager to join our team in Duncan.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll play a key role inoverseeing a range of programs that support individuals in both community-basedand residential settings. This position is responsible for the overalloperation, quality of care, and day-to-day management of assigned residentialhomes.

You’ll lead and support a team of support workers, ensureperson-centered services are delivered with excellence, and oversee essentialadministrative functions such as staffing, budgeting, and compliance. Mostimportantly, you’ll help create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environmentwhere individuals can thrive, build independence, and live with dignity.

What You’ll Do
Program & Service Delivery
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of residentialhomes, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care
  • Champion individualized support by aligningservices with each person’s goals, needs, and preferences
  • Continuously assess program effectiveness andimplement improvements
  • Promote community inclusion, life skillsdevelopment, and overall well-being
Staff Leadership & Development
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervisionof support workers
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performancemanagement to build a strong, capable team
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensureconsistent, quality coverage
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborativeteam culture
Operations, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Manage program budgets responsibly, ensuringeffective use of resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting inline with agency and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicablelegislation, policies, and licensing standards (CLBC)
  • Promote a strong culture of health and safety
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and emergencieswith professionalism and urgency
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and qualityimprovement initiatives
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong relationships with families,caregivers, and community partners
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals andexternal agencies
  • Keep senior leadership informed through regularupdates and reporting
About You
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Social Services,Psychology, Human Services, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in communityliving or residential care
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience isan asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Valid TB test

Working Conditions
  • Primarily office-based, with regular visits toresidential homes
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings,weekends, or be on-call as needed
  • Dynamic environment that requires responsivenessand sound decision-making

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Wages: $34 CAD- $36 CAD
