Job summary

Mainstreet Equity Corp. is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to perform building maintenance duties across assigned locations in a multi-family setting.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC, with an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours issues; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of general handyman experience.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and drywall.

Responsibilities

• General handyman duties including minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Inspection and maintenance of boilers, HVAC etc.
• Carpentry tasks: blinds, doors, cabinets, drywall, tiling, painting.
• Be available for on-call shifts after hours and on weekends.
• Manage tenants' maintenance requests with follow-up and satisfaction checks.

Position Summary

Maintenance Technician is responsible for all building maintenance related duties within their assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• General handyman duties- minor plumbing, electrical repairs and maintenance
• Inspection and maintenance of boilers, HVAC etc.
• General carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors, locks, cabinets etc., drywall, tiling and painting
• Be available for on- call on a rotating schedule to deal with problems that occur after hours and/or weekends
• Manage tenants' maintenance requests including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and completion

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years' of general handyman work experience
• Experience in minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall
• Soldering, troubleshoot of appliances, repair worksFlexible to work regular work hours and on-call duties/weekends/ after hour emergencies on rotation basis schedule
• Must possess valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use at work.
• Must successfully complete a security clearance
