Job description

Our client sets the global standard for residential property management, and this role puts you at the centre of it. This is an opportunity to join one of the most respected names in global real estate, where your technical expertise is valued, supported, and positioned for long-term career growth within a premier downtown Toronto community.

Your New Employer

Our client, Greystar, is a global leader in institutional-quality rental housing, with a reputation built on operational excellence, resident experience, and long-term asset stewardship. With a presence in nearly 250 markets worldwide and over one million units under management, Greystar offers scale, stability, and best-in-class systems—while still empowering on‑site teams to take pride of ownership in their communities.

This opportunity supports The Litho, a professionally managed, downtown Toronto multi‑family residential community where quality, service, and resident satisfaction are paramount.

Your Role

As the Maintenance Technician, you will play a hands‑on, visible role in maintaining the building's physical condition, safety, and overall presentation. Reporting to the Property Manager, you will be responsible for responding to resident service requests, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring vacant suites are prepared to Greystar standards for new move‑ins. Your work will involve diagnosing issues, performing repairs in compliance with safety standards and building codes, and coordinating with vendors when required. You will also contribute to maintaining common areas, amenities, and exterior grounds, ensuring the property consistently reflects a high standard of care.

What Sets You Apart

You are a practical, solutions‑oriented maintenance professional who takes pride in your work and understands the importance of customer service in a residential environment. You are comfortable working independently, remain calm under pressure, and communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and external service providers. You bring hands‑on experience in general building maintenance and repairs, strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, and a service‑first mindset. You are proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools, maintain accurate documentation, and manage materials and inventory responsibly.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a best‑in‑class global real estate platform that offers long‑term career stability and growth. You will work within a professionally managed, high‑quality, purpose‑built residential asset, supported by established systems, processes, and leadership. Greystar offers full‑time, stable employment, competitive compensation, structured on‑call overtime, and an environment that values accountability, craftsmanship, and resident experience.
