Summary

We are seeking a Casual Housekeeper to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care, located in the Langford area of Victoria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for seniors and their families.

The selected candidate would start with their first client Fridays 9:30am-12:30pm weekly. This client resides on a hill that will require someone to drive to the home.

From there if so wish to you're able to grow their hours by taking on other clients, as they are made available.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing.
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to understand their needs.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and compassionate demeanor.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning roles.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset but not required.
