Job summary

Campus Living Centres is seeking a Residence Services Representative to work at the front desk of the residence in Fort McMurray, AB. The role involves assisting students and guests with inquiries, processing reservations, check-ins/outs, and handling financial transactions with a strong emphasis on privacy and safety.

The position requires excellent verbal communication, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a busy residence environment, while adhering to health and safety

Responsibilities

• Respond to student and guest inquiries, service requests, and perform daily operational duties.
• Utilize Campus Living Centres software for clerical tasks.
• Process payments and review accounts for financial administration.
• Maintain video surveillance and ensure cameras are recording.
• Protect student and guest privacy.
• Follow OHSA related health and safety procedures and training.
• Identify and contact appropriate staff for issues; liaise with residence staff and contractors.
• Update room status with housekeeping.
• Manage reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and account settlements at front desk.
• Keep front desk, lobby, and office area tidy and presentable.
• Understand building departments (maintenance, housekeeping, residence life, sales).
• Oversee front desk operations, including key card creation, payments, reports, and organization.
• Ensure proper use of building keys.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
