Job summary

Wheatland Housing Management Body is seeking four compassionate, reliable, and resident focused "Resident Hospitality Coordinators" to join our Supportive Living team at Wheatland Lodge. The successful candidates will provide non-clinical resident support, hospitality, assistance with daily needs, and service coordination to enhance quality of life and the overall experience of our residents.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience with older adults or supportive living is an asset.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident assistance, meal delivery, companionship and comfort.
• Safely porter residents and assist with mobility when not arranged by Home Care.
• Respond to call bells and routine requests within scope.
• Coordinate scheduled medication delivery and assist with appointments.
• Welcome residents returning from hospital and support their transition.
• Serve as a point of contact for families, visitors and external providers.
• Provide palliative and emotional support; maintain a calm, respectful environment.
• Escort residents to programs, encourage participation and social engagement.
