Job summary

Banff Caribou Properties is seeking a Reservations Sales Agent in Banff to support guests planning their getaway. You’ll use knowledge of our hotels and packages to turn inquiries into bookings, communicating by phone and email with a friendly, personalised approach.

You’ll build rapport, recommend suitable stays, handle reservations and payments, and collaborate with partners to ensure guest satisfaction. Weekend availability and a team-oriented culture are valued.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest and travel partner enquiries by phone and email in a professional manner.
• Build rapport, understand guest needs and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Sell BCP’s hotels and services, upsell where appropriate.
• Use knowledge of Banff and offerings to make relevant recommendations.
• Process reservations, deposits, payments, confirmations and requests accurately.
• Explain booking terms, cancellation policies and check-in information.
• Coordinate with Front Office, booking partners and wholesalers to meet needs.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information in our systems.

As a Reservations Sales Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests planning their Banff getaway. You’ll use your knowledge of BCP’s hotels, packages, products and services to help guests find the perfect stay and turn enquiries into bookings.

You’ll communicate with guests, travel agents and FIT partners by phone and email, providing knowledgeable, friendly and personalised service throughout the booking process.

What you’ll be doing

• Sell BCP’s hotels, packages, products and services, identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance stays.
• Use your knowledge of BCP offerings and Banff to make relevant recommendations.
• Process reservations, deposits, payments, confirmations and special requests accurately.
• Explain booking terms, conditions, cancellation policies and check-in information.
• Work closely with Front Office, booking partners and wholesalers to ensure guest needs are met.
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information in our systems.
