Job summary

Fairmont Banff Springs is seeking a Reservations Manager (Maternity Coverage) to lead the largest in-house Reservations team in the NCA region, ensuring booking accuracy and superior guest experiences. The role oversees staffing, inventory control, and cross‑functional collaboration with Revenue Management, Sales and Operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of Reservations, Sales or Rooms Operations experience is required.
• Two years of leadership experience in a high-volume hotel, sales or call centre environment is required.
• Experience leading a Reservations department or similar hotel operation is preferred.
• Strong abilities in guest escalation resolution, service recovery and complaint handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the largest in-house Reservations department within the NCA region.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, labour forecasting and staff development.
• Manage guestroom inventory, room allocation and partnerships with Revenue Management and Operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, PR, Marketing and Operations on packages and rates.
• Build relationships with group organizers and key partners for seamless reservations and arrivals.
• Maintain knowledge of reservation systems, market segments, rates, and policies.
