Job summary
Colliers is seeking a Research Analyst to support the Office team in Toronto. You will generate market reports, briefings, and thought leadership pieces while managing data across Colliers platforms.
The role requires an undergraduate degree in Real Estate or Business, 2+ years in research and strong communication, with proficiency in MS 365, Excel, and BI tools. This is a hybrid position with an emphasis on timely insights and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.
- 2+ years’ experience in a research role; experience in commercial real estate preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including networking and relationship building ability.
- Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft 365 suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience in BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic research publications, market commentary, and other materials including presentations, market reports, and white papers.
- Monitor industry statistics and trends on current events to generate research content and thought leadership pieces.
- Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive summaries, meetings and presentations.
- Utilize database knowledge and data manipulation/query tools to manage Colliers platforms.
- Assist with review of quality control standards for the Research team and support data collection.
- Engage in meetings with research and sales teams, building relationships within the industry.

As a Research Analyst supporting the Office team, you are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. You are constantly learning, trying to find the most efficient way to complete a process or make things simpler. You excel in managing multiple priorities, and enjoy providing strategic insights on the market and enhancing Toronto’s research capacities.

Area / Location Specific: Toronto, ON
Approximate Compensation for this Role: $69,369 to $80,000 per annum
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
