Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Portfolio Intelligence Analyst in Canada to drive enterprise portfolio insights and executive decision support. You will gather, validate, and analyze portfolio data, building dashboards and reports while supporting investment prioritization and governance processes.

The role emphasizes data quality, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of analytics capabilities, including AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; professional certifications preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in portfolio management or related field.
  • Experience in project, program, or Agile frameworks is an asset.
  • Commercial real estate experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze portfolio data to support prioritization, investment planning, capacity management, financial oversight, dependency management, and portfolio health assessments.
  • Develop actionable insights, identify trends, risks, and data anomalies, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, portfolio reports, governance packs, and performance metrics.
  • Support governance forums by preparing briefing materials, decision-support information, meeting documentation, and tracking governance actions and outcomes.
  • Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, and tailored for executive audiences.
  • Support business case intake, validation, investment appraisal, and enterprise portfolio prioritization activities.
  • Maintain business case repositories and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor portfolio financial performance, resource utilization, delivery health, risks, dependencies, benefits realization, and key portfolio metrics.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and information integrity across the portfolio.
  • Identify and implement improvements to portfolio analytics, reporting, processes, automation, and AI-enabled portfolio intelligence capabilities.

About The Role

The Portfolio Intelligence Analyst is responsible for producing trusted portfolio intelligence that enables effective enterprise portfolio management and informed executive decision-making. Reporting to the Enterprise Portfolio Manager, the role gathers, validates, analyses and maintains portfolio information across the enterprise technology portfolio. The Portfolio Intelligence Analyst develops executive dashboards, portfolio analytics, governance information and performance reporting while supporting portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.

The role ensures portfolio information is complete, accurate, timely, and decision-ready, providing the analytical foundation upon which portfolio governance, investment decisions and executive reporting are based.

In this role, you will…
Portfolio Analysis and Intelligence
  • Analyze portfolio data to support prioritization, investment planning, capacity management, financial oversight, dependency management, and portfolio health assessments.
  • Develop actionable insights, identify trends, risks, and data anomalies, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Executive Reporting and Governance Support
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, portfolio reports, governance packs, and performance metrics.
  • Support governance forums by preparing briefing materials, decision-support information, meeting documentation, and tracking governance actions and outcomes.
  • Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, consistent, and tailored for executive audiences.
Business Case and Investment Support
  • Support business case intake, validation, investment appraisal, and enterprise portfolio prioritization activities.
  • Maintain business case repositories and associated supporting documentation.
Portfolio Health Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor portfolio financial performance, resource utilization, delivery health, risks, dependencies, benefits realization, and key portfolio metrics.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and information integrity across the portfolio.
  • Identify and implement improvements to portfolio analytics, reporting, processes, automation, and AI-enabled portfolio intelligence capabilities.
What You Bring
  • Basic / Minimum Education requirement to perform the job: Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred educational requirements to perform the job:
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
    • SAFe® Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
    • SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
    • Kanban Management Professional (KMP)
    • Management of Portfolios (MoP®)
    • PRINCE2® Foundation
    • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Relevant Years of experience required to perform the role: 3 to 5 yrs of experience
  • Experience working within project, program, or Agile frameworks is an asset and preferred
  • Commercial Real Estate experience / background to perform the role is preferred

Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $95,887 to $110,000

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
