Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Research Analyst to support the Office team in Toronto. You will deliver market analyses, synthesis of data, and policy implications to inform clients and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes meticulous data handling, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering clear executive-ready insights. A hybrid work model in Downtown Toronto is available with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.
• 2+ years’ experience in a research role; experience in commercial real estate preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including networking and relationship building.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic research publications, market commentary, and other materials including presentations, market reports, white papers.
• Monitor industry statistics and trends to generate research content and thought leadership.
• Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive summaries, meetings and presentations.
• Utilize database knowledge and data manipulation/query tools to manage Colliers platforms.
• Assist with review of quality control standards for the Research team and support data collection.
• Engage in meetings with research and sales teams, building relationships within the industry.

About you

As a Research Analyst supporting the Office team, you are a curious person with a keen eye for detail. You are constantly learning, trying to find the most efficient way to complete a process or make things simpler. You excel in managing multiple priorities, and enjoy providing strategic insights on the market and enhancing Toronto’s research capacities.

In this role, you will…

• Prepare periodic research publications, market commentary, and other various materials including presentations, market reports, white papers

• Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive-level summary documents, meetings and presentations.
• Utilize database knowledge and data manipulation/query tools to manage existing Colliers platforms.
• Assist with the review of quality control standards for the Research team and support the research and data collection function.
• Actively participate and engage in meetings with the research and sales teams, building relationships within the industry.

What you’ll bring

• Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.

Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information:
Area / Location Specific: Toronto, ON
Approximate Compensation for this Role: $69,369 to $80,000 per annum

Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
