Job summary

Glencore Raglan Mine is seeking a Mental Health Profesional to join our Health Services team on a 24-month temporary basis at Raglan Mine Site. You will provide counseling and psychosocial support, with a 14/14 rotation and 11-hour days, in a close-knit team.

Reporting to Health Services Supervisor, you will deliver care, crisis intervention and collaborate with site teams to manage cases and support new arrivals. Bilingual French/English required; Inuktitut is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology.
• 5 years of relevant experience working with local communities.
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
• Working knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and psychosocial support to employees.
• Provide care and follow-up for employees in need of psychological support.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients on-site.
• Collaborate with the various teams at the mining site to manage different cases.
• Support the psychosocial integration of new arrivals.
• Participate in the implementation and promotion of mental health support programs.

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology
• Have 5 years of relevant experience working with local communities
• Be a member of a recognized professional association
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential
• Working knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset
