Job summary

Glencore Canada seeks an Underground Mine Supervisor to lead safety‑critical underground operations at Raglan Mine Site. You will supervise 12–20 production and development employees, plan weekly schedules, and drive inspections with recommendations. A strong health and safety commitment is essential.

You must hold a high school diploma, modular FMTM training, and an explosives permit, with fluency in French and English. The role offers a demanding schedule and competitive benefits.

How You Contribute To Our World

Reporting to the mine captain, you will coordinate underground activities, ensuring that employees operate safely in compliance with environmental laws and standards. Your main tasks will be:

• Directly supervise between 12 and 20 production and development employees.
• Plan and organize employee work while adhering to weekly production schedules and drilling plans.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, investigate and analyze incidents, and submit recommendations.
• Organize and lead various meetings.
• Optimize and improve work methods, equipment, or infrastructure.

Profile Required

• Hold a high school diploma.
• Have experience in underground mine supervision.
• Have completed modular training (FMTM) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 and hold a general explosives permit.
• Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety.
• Demonstrate leadership, influence, organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
