Job description

Number of Positions : 1

Duration : 11 months

Location : Toronto, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, with 3 days per week onsite in Toronto mandatory; subject to change without exceptions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

The Report Developer will support automation of regular and ad-hoc reporting focused on engineering value delivery. The team produces various cyclical and ad-hoc reports covering Project Portfolio Execution, Risk Remediation, and Change Management.

• Design, implement, and maintain data analytics and reporting solutions for Project Portfolio Management.
• Communicate with project and portfolio management practitioners to support report adoption, validate data, and gather feature requests.
• Collaborate with SMEs to understand data requirements and translate them into data models.
• Assemble large, complex data sets, identify logical connections, and automate data validation and ETL processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of Project Portfolio Management processes and tools.

Must-have Skills / Experience / Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with:
• Power BI / M language
• SQL
• JIRA / JQL
• Defining and establishing solutions for complex corporate systems

Strong technical background with proven experience in relational databases, data quality, analytics, ETL, and reporting. Excellent problem-solving skills and a software engineering background are required. Must be outcome-oriented, capable of delivering and executing tasks, identifying risks, resolving issues quickly, and influencing outcomes across multiple organizations and stakeholders. Ability to think abstractly and simplify complex issues into actionable tasks.
