Position Purpose: The Replenishment Analyst has responsibility for the tactical execution of the business replenishment strategy, providing a high level of service to its Merchandising, Store Operations, and Distribution Centre customers. The Analysts will be responsible for achieving service level, in-stock, and inventory turns metrics. The Analyst will collaborate with all functional departments, building strong partnerships with their customers. The position will assist in ensuring inventory levels are on target for Stores and DC’s with the end result of being in-stock for customers that shop our stores.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Provide key reporting on inventory management to Merchandising, Logistics, and Senior Management.
2. Use replenishment tools to support Key Performance Indicators on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including store/DC.
3. Release and monitor systemically generated purchase orders using the SAP sales forecast as a primary input for the Flatbed Delivery Center ensuring Truckload building requirements are met based on Weight/Cube and determine manual purchase quantities when required/approved.
4. Work with stores/PRO/CAM teams to understand upcoming demand within or outside supplier lead time and support generation of ad-hoc purchase orders into FDC.
5. Support the BDC to FDC transfer process, including but not limited to regular replenishment and ad-hoc transfer to meet customer demands.
6. Manage the Store and DC inventory exceptions (stock-out and excess).
7. Manage inventory at the Stores and DC’s to achieve the turn and fill rate objectives including service level/in-stock targets for stores and DC.
8. Collaborate on initial buy quantities and product flow discussions and provide replenishment expertise to cross-functional teams.
9. Provide options for cross-functional teams when issues of too much or too little inventory arise.
10. Communicate product status and updates to stores and DC in a timely manner.
11. Liaise and support cross-functional teams, Vendors, Merchants, stores, and Logistics to ensure the company meets performance targets.
12. Work closely with Merchants and Senior Management to achieve company objectives.
13. Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
14. Manage store requests to the service level agreement.
15. Ensure consistent, timely execution of cross-functional facing processes (e.g. Ad Process).
16. Escalate issues to forecast analyst and business analyst partners as well as your leaders.
17. Act as primary on-site SSC/FDC contact for merchandising, stores, and vendors.

Knowledge/Experience Required:

1. Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+).
2. 1-3 years of analytical experience (ideally in a retail environment) with emphasis on inventory management.
3. University or College Degree in business or engineering will be considered a preferred qualification.
4. SAP knowledge would be an asset.
5. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel and/or MS Access.
6. Good analytical skills with the ability to extrapolate pertinent information from various sources (reports and spreadsheets) and analyze data for recommendations.
7. Excellent communication skills; collaborative with effective interpersonal skills; able to work across departments.
8. Strong customer focus with business acumen, problem-solving skills, and results-oriented.
9. Self-directed, ability to work with limited supervision.
10. Bilingual French/English an asset.
