Groupe Robert is presently looking for a dispatcher for permanent part-time work for its Boucherville terminal.

Friday to Sunday 8:00 to 17:00.

The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and dispatching them in order to maximize the use of their equipment and time. He or she will also have to take into consideration the needs of each client.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:

• Optimize operations during the day and manage assignment changes;
• Take customer orders;
• Effectively resolve all issues impacting customer service;
• Follow up on issues that arise, changes that need to be made, and changes that need to be made to operations;
• Track driver hours of service to ensure compliance;
• Communicate effectively with employees, suppliers and our customers.
