Job summary

Mucci Farms Inc. is seeking a Production Manager - Repack to lead all repack operations at Mucci Pac Ltd. in Kingsville, Ontario. The role focuses on safe, efficient production, scheduling, resource allocation, team leadership, and continuous improvement to meet customer specs and minimize waste.

The position manages afternoon shifts with coverage for other shifts, fosters teamwork, and ensures OHSA and HACCP/GMP compliance while driving cost-effective production and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred/required.
• 5+ years’ experience managing or supervising in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong understanding of production needs of produce; ability to lead a 3-shift operation.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise repack operations on the afternoon shift; provide coverage to other shifts as needed.
• Optimize labour, materials, and equipment utilization to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor and improve productivity, yields, waste, and quality metrics.
• Lead and develop a team; manage workforce planning, training, and performance.
