Job summary

Williams Machinery in Surrey, BC, is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to ensure the rental fleet operates at peak efficiency. You will coordinate reservations, maintain pricing across branches, and work with the Rentals Manager to maximize profitability in line with market needs.

The role emphasizes building relationships with rental yards, keeping equipment ready through timely servicing, and reporting on KPIs such as Utilization, ROI, and Availability.

Ensure the rental fleet is in optimal condition by coordinating and reporting on the company’s equipment rental fleet and working closely with the Rentals Manager to maximize profitability based on market requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact Here:

• Maximize Fleet Utilization: Advise and support departments company-wide to maximize fleet utilization.
• Coordinate the Fleet: Coordinate reservations and movement of units between branches.
• Manage the Fleet: Manage the units’ database to ensure the equipment has the correct rental price in all the branches.
• Keep Equipment Ready: Ensure units are repaired/serviced on time and within budget by working closely with the service department.
• Build Relationships: Nurture relationships with existing rental yards in the lower mainland.
• Rental Process: Coordinate the check-in/out rental process with the different branches, ensuring that damages are identified and collected.
