Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in St. John’s, NL is seeking a Rental Coordinator to be the face of our branch. You will handle customer interactions by phone, email, and in person, and coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision.

You’ll assist with loading, balancing invoices and pricing, and support a safe, team-focused operation. Join a growing, Canada-wide equipment rental company and help local projects run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the branch, engaging with customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with paperwork and contracts.
• Assist with loading/unloading customer pickups and keeping shelves stocked.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an efficient work environment.
• Balance invoices and ensure pricing accuracy at day end.
• Open and close the branch when needed.

Pay: $21.00–$23.00 hourly (depending on experience)

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
