Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a Rental Coordinator in Yarmouth, NS. You will manage customer interactions, coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns, and ensure paperwork and pricing accuracy while supporting the branch operations.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, teamwork, and time-management skills, plus familiarity with construction equipment. The role offers stability and opportunities for growth within a Canada-wide equipment rental leader.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Systematics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to make customers feel valued.
• Strong team collaboration abilities.
• Time-management and effective planning skills.
• Technical understanding of CAT equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the branch, engaging with customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns with paperwork and contracts.
• Assist with loading/unloading customer pickups and stock shelves.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an efficient branch.
• Balance funds and verify pricing at day end.

Location: Yarmouth, NS
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00–$23.00 hourly (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.
