Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a Rental Coordinator for our St. John's, NL branch. You will be the face of the branch, guiding customers through rentals, deliveries, and returns with professional service while preparing contracts and keeping records accurate.

Responsibilities include stock management, collaboration with colleagues, daily invoicing, and branch opening/closing. You will contribute to a safe, customer-focused operation and help ensure equipment readiness for projects

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with construction equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.
• Strong time-management and planning abilities.
• CAT equipment knowledge is an asset.

• Be the face of the branch via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns; prepare paperwork and contracts.
• Assist with loading/unloading and stocking shelves.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficiency.
• Balance funds and verify pricing; close daily on invoices.
• Open/close the branch as needed.
• Monitor rental equipment and saleable goods inventory.
• Follow safety and environmental protocols.

Pay: $21.00–$23.00 hourly (depending on experience)

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
