Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Napanee, ON seeks a Rental Coordinator to manage customer interactions and drive smooth rental operations. You will handle rentals, deliveries, returns, and related documentation with accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork, plus a self-starter attitude to help the branch run efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Team player with scheduling and paperwork accuracy.
• Self-starter with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email with a professional approach.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns; prepare paperwork and contracts.
• Assist with loading/unloading and keep shelves stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Verify invoices, ensure pricing accuracy, and balance funds at day end.
• Open/close the branch as needed and monitor safety procedures.

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 hourly (depending on experience)

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
