Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals, part of the Toromont Industries Ltd. family, is Canada’s leading construction equipment rental company. As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member helping to keep operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

You’ll engage with customers, coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns, and ensure invoices and pricing are accurate at day’s end. Join a team that supports growth and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with paperwork and contracts for deliveries and updating tracking systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading customer pick-ups and stocking product shelves.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Open and close the branch when needed.
• Monitor rental equipment and saleable goods to meet customer needs.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills :Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
