Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Brampton, ON is seeking a Rental Coordinator to support daily branch operations under a contract arrangement. You’ll manage rentals, deliveries, returns, and invoicing, while delivering strong customer service and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) with ability to manage data.
• Familiarity with Systematics is advantageous.
• Construction knowledge helpful for equipment context.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the branch via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Coordinate equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with paperwork.
• Prepare contracts and update product spreadsheets and tracking systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading, keep shelves stocked, and support teammates.
• Balance funds, verify pricing on invoices, and close daily tasks.
• Open/close the branch as needed and monitor rental inventory.
• Uphold safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time‑management and effective planning skills.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
