Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Timmins, Ontario, is hiring a Rental Coordinator to manage daily rental operations. You’ll handle customer interactions, process paperwork, and coordinate deliveries and returns while maintaining accurate records and inventory.

The role emphasizes a strong customer focus, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Full-time position with competitive hourly pay and benefits, located at our Timmins branch.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Able to work well in a team and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of CAT equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns by preparing paperwork and contracts and updating internal tracking systems.
• Assist with loading/unloading customer pickups and keep shelves stocked.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive, efficient work environment.
• Balance invoices and verify pricing at day’s end; ensure accuracy of funds.
• Open and close the branch when needed.
• Monitor rental equipment and saleable goods to meet customer needs.
• Follow safety protocols and environmentally sound practices.

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.

• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
