Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Collingwood, ON is seeking a Rental Coordinator. You will be the friendly face of the branch, handling inquiries by phone, email, and in person while coordinating equipment rentals, deliveries, and returns.

Join a Canada-wide leader in construction equipment rental. You’ll help load/unload when needed, balance invoices, ensure pricing accuracy, and maintain shelves and safety practices as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Systematics.
• Construction equipment knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Team player with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the branch by engaging with customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate rentals, deliveries, and returns with accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading and stocking shelves.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient operations.
• Close daily tasks with invoicing, pricing accuracy, and balance.
• Open/close the branch as needed.
• Monitor rental equipment and saleable goods to meet customer needs.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental practices.

Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hr (based on experience)

As a Rental Coordinator, you’ll be a key team member, helping to keep our operations running smoothly and our clients coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the face of our branch by engaging with customers through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with a professional attitude.
• Coordinateequipment rentals, deliveries, and returns with precision and care by preparing paperwork and contracts for deliveries, updating internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups while keeping our product shelves stocked and ready.
• Collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues to create a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Wrap up each day by checking invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy, and balancing funds.
• Act as a trusted team member by opening and closing the branch when needed.
• Keep a keen eye on our rental equipment and saleable goods, ensuring we always have what our customers need when they need it.
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.

What We're Looking For

• Computer Skills :Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.) Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
• Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• A Self-Starter: With a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills.
• A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.
