Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. in Victoria, BC is seeking an experienced Renovation Sales Representative to manage all levels of accounts in the fire alarm and safety systems business.

The successful candidate will bring field experience, knowledge of ULC standards, and a valid Driver's License, and will promote Troy’s services with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary education in a business program or equivalent experience.
• Field experience in fire alarm systems and/or renovation sales of fire alarm systems required.
• Knowledgeable of ULC standards and fire alarm products.
• Well-developed customer relations, organization and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all levels of accounts and promote Troy's services and products.
• Establish contact with purchasing influences within the territory.
• Promote and secure Deficiencies with profitability in mind.
• Generate quotes and document competitive activity and trends for the Manager.
• Provide technical support to inside staff and service technicians as required.
• Assist other areas as required daily.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all levels of accounts and have industry experience/knowledge in fire alarm and safety systems.

Nature & Scope

• Responsible for all levels of accounts.
• Must have adequate sales and product knowledge in order to represent Troy Life & Fire Safety with customers in a professional manner
• Establish contact with purchasing influences as assigned or within the geographic territory and promote the sale of Troy's’ services and products
• Promote and secure Deficiencies with profitability in mind
• Generate a list of potential quotes and document competitive activity/trends to direct Manager as required
• Provide technical support to inside staff and service technicians as required.
• Assist all other areas as required on a daily basis

Qualifications

• Post Secondary education at a recognized institution in a business program or equivalent experience.
• Field experience in fire alarm systems and/or experience in renovation sales of fire alarm systems required
• Knowledgeable of ULC standards and fire alarm products
• Well-developed customer relations, organization and communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License required
• Valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
