Job summary

Canadian Medical Protective Association is seeking a Web Student to join a dynamic BCE team. The role focuses on building and updating HTML pages for member and employee portals, and the public site, while learning in a collaborative, agile environment.

You will test websites across browsers, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to web development best practices while gaining hands-on experience in content management and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
• Experience in Web content management is required.
• Knowledge of Accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.0 is an asset.
• Understanding of user experience is an asset.
• Experience with QA testing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update HTML webpages for CMPA’s portals and public site.
• Test websites and web applications across browsers and devices.
• Assist with website technical troubleshooting and support.
• Contribute to Web team research on development best practices.
