Job summary

Markage in Canada is seeking a Front-end Developer for an on-site role based in Calgary, Vancouver, or Toronto. You will build accessible, responsive interfaces from approved designs and work closely with designers and back-end engineers.

You will implement semantic markup, ensure performance and maintainability, and participate in code reviews and deployment, with AI-assisted tooling used under review. This is an in-house opening based in Canada.

Qualifications

• Production front-end experience building websites or apps.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular).

Responsibilities

• Build responsive user interfaces from designs using HTML, CSS, and JS.
• Translate designs into reusable components and layouts.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and deployment processes.
