Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a hands-on Web Developer for a short-term project in Canada. You will refine HTML/CSS/JS, connect Google Sheets and dashboards, and establish a lightweight deployment workflow. The role emphasizes maintainable code, documentation, and training for non-technical teammates.

The project is expected to last about two weeks, with a quick codebase review and scope assessment to set priorities and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; no framework required.
• Ability to take ownership of undocumented or AI-generated code.
• Experience deploying static sites via Cloudflare Pages or similar.
• Experience integrating Google Sheets with websites/dashboards.
• Ability to enable a simple blog publishing workflow for non-technical users.
• Strong written English and clear communication of technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review codebase and refactor as needed without breaking existing functionality.
• Improve main website and implement a publish workflow for blog posts.
• Connect interactive dashboard to Google Sheets for data updates without code changes.
• Refine UI with a clean, polished editorial style for donors and institutional audiences.
• Set up a repeatable deployment workflow and a code repository.
• Document implementation details and provide handover training to non-technical staff.
• Deliver within the short project timeline with clear priorities.
