Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a motion-forward Visual Designer to elevate the quality and consistency of customer experiences across its product ecosystem, using motion to guide attention and explain product behavior.

You will work at the intersection of product and brand, spanning in-app interactions, animated illustrations, web, email, lifecycle journeys, and product launches, pairing motion craft with UX thinking and design systems.

Qualifications

3+ years in motion, animation, visual, or product design in a product-driven environment.
Portfolio showing motion and visual-design craft across digital products.
Strong knowledge of animation timing, pacing, transitions, and choreography.
Proficiency with After Effects, LottieFiles, or comparable software.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and production constraints (email/mobile).

Responsibilities

Design motion-forward experiences across in-app surfaces, web, email, lifecycle comms, and product marketing.
Own visual and motion-design projects from concept to production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
Create reusable visual assets and motion patterns.
