Job summary

East Coast Credit Union in Nova Scotia is seeking a Full-Time Virtual Branch Specialist to deliver excellent member service across phone, email, live chat, and other digital channels. The role supports both existing and potential members and works with the Virtual Branch team.

The successful candidate will join a community-focused credit union, be able to work days and evenings, and contribute to member satisfaction, product recommendations, and flexible location across Nova Scotia.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Business (or related field).
• Minimum 1 year sales and service experience, preferably in financial industry.
• Superior customer service and business development skills.
• French language proficiency is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and provide advice via virtual channels (phone, email, live chat, SMS, website).
• Handle incoming calls and manage digital inquiries; perform outbound calls to support initiatives.
• Identify member needs and refer to the appropriate department.
• Recommend and process product and service solutions (deposits, term deposits, digital services).
• Book in-person and telephone appointments; ensure accurate member information in scheduling software.
• Provide demonstrations and support for virtual and self-serve channels.
