Job summary

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Limited is seeking a motivated Financial Services Associate to help members achieve Financial Comfort by developing solid financial plans through virtual channels and guiding decisions on income, expenses, assets and liabilities. You will support lending and mortgage retention opportunities and maintain superb member service.

In this role you will upsell lending and investment options, handle member inquiries, and actively pursue outreach while working remotely

Qualifications

• University or college degree in Business or equivalent with at least 3 years in financial services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related software
• Knowledge of banking products including accounts, registered/non-registered investments, lending and mortgages
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Bondable (must be able to pass background checks)

Responsibilities

• Promotes and advises on lending and investment products and services
• Process loans, mortgages and lines of credit within authority
• Handle member inquiries via virtual channels
• Develop and maintain member relationships and outreach
• Open and maintain member accounts
