Job summary

East Coast Credit Union is seeking a Business Solutions Specialist to enhance the financial well-being of business members in central Nova Scotia. You will deliver holistic cash management solutions, train teams, and ensure compliance with policies while driving member satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a minimum of three years in business banking and a certificate or diploma in Business or Commerce.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Business or Commerce is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in business/commercial banking or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cash management products and services.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and deepen member relationships.
• Experience drafting RFPs and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by engaging with small business members and adhering to policies and standards.
• Support and train the Business Services Team and branch staff in selling and fulfilling cash management solutions.
• Analyze and recommend cash management solutions; deliver onsite/offsite presentations; provide training and ongoing support.
• Respond to inquiries about research, system capabilities, online banking, payments, and other banking features.
• Proactively identify needs such as account openings or updating contact information.
• Prepare custom pricing packages and review accounts annually.
• Plan weekly contact strategy and report progress to management.
• Act as SME for cash management offerings and ensure documentation meets requirements.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
