Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere with a flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, helping AI systems improve.

Responsibilities include comparing AI-generated images and videos, judging adherence to prompts, and rating quality and realism. Earn up to $18 USD/hr with weekly payments and free access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfort with everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in a natural way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
