Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Ukrainian Medical Interpreter to support healthcare and related sectors across Canada remotely. You will provide live interpretation via OPI and VRI, ensuring accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive communication for Ukrainian and English speakers.

Applicants should be fluent in Ukrainian and English, have a high school diploma, be 18+, and legally eligible to work in Canada. Training is provided, with a salary paid after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Fluent Ukrainian and English speaking, reading, listening, and comprehension.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years old and legally allowed to work in Canada.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Comfortable using web-based communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between Ukrainian and English using OPI and VRI platforms.
• Facilitate communication across healthcare, insurance, legal, financial, emergency services, and public service contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
• Manage video interpretation sessions with proper etiquette and clear meaning.
• Participate in training, quality monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
