Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Remote Telecommunications Technician to join our network operations team. This role focuses on monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining telecom infrastructure remotely, across client sites, using advanced tools to ensure reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate has strong TCP/IP and MPLS knowledge, experience with network monitoring, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while communicating effectively with clients and internal

Qualifications

• Experience as Telecommunications or Network Technician.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS and networking hardware.
• Ability to resolve issues remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance using specialized software and identify issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor telecommunications network performance and identify potential issues or outages using specialized software.

• Respond to service tickets and provide technical support to internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician , Network Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications principles, network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS), and hardware.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , autonomous environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage technical issues without direct supervision.
