Job summary

Eminence Talent Group is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a remote finance team serving startups. This role focuses on managing financial records, A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations, with strong QBO and Excel skills.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, assist CPAs and tax teams, and generate comprehensive reports while maintaining GAAP standards. Remote position offers collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant.
• Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal and client bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Use QuickBooks Online to manage tasks and generate reports.
• Maintain day-to-day financial operations in line with accounting practices.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support tax preparation activities with CPAs and tax teams.
