Job summary

Rush Street Interactive in Canada is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations team. You will monitor SIEM and security platforms, investigate alerts, and respond to incidents using established playbooks, while supporting vulnerability management and cross-functional threat mitigation.

You should bring a bachelor's degree in IT/security and 2+ years in cybersecurity, plus relevant certifications and SOC process experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in cybersecurity.
• Certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, CompTIA.
• Experience with SOC processes and documenting procedures.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM and security platforms for suspicious activity.
• Investigate and classify alerts; respond following playbooks.
• Maintain playbooks and incident response documentation.
• Support vulnerability management and threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
