Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant and analytical Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join a fully remote global security team. You will monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats in real time across the organization's network and systems from your home office.

You will work with state-of-the-art security tooling, perform threat hunting, document incidents, and escalate as needed to help defend against cyberattacks while collaborating with international colleagues in a remote,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a SOC environment or similar security role.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and common attack vectors.
  • Understanding of incident response methodologies and cyber security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in remote team settings.

Responsibilities
